To learn, have FUN and keep Maker Faire Milwaukee free and open to everyone! Great volunteers are what make a stellar Maker Faire! They ensure all makers–whether visiting or exhibiting–are informed and engaged while they learn and discover new things. Volunteers can do anything from helping out on a race course to staffing information booths. Our form now allows for groups and families to sign-up at one time. If you are a student or employee of a company that requires community service hours, volunteering at Maker Faire Milwaukee can count towards your service.
Individual volunteers must be 16 or older and sign a liability release form. Those under 18 require a parent signature. Children younger than 16 can volunteer with a guardian or the entire family.
Contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions. There will be three optional volunteer orientation days leading up to the event to provide an opportunity to meet other volunteers learn about Faire Layout and changes and hack your volunteer T-shirt. We’ll let you know when these are scheduled once we get closed to the Faire.
