Getting To The Faire

Where

This year’s Faire will be held on the campus of Milwaukee School of Engineering; the main exhibitor venue is the Kern Center: 1245 N Broadway, Milwaukee.  Exhibitors will also be located at the MSOE STEM Center: 1444 North Water; and along Werwath Mall, near the Walter Schroeder Library: 500 East Kilbourn Avenue. The University’s Grohmann Museum and 91.7 WMSE Radio Station will also be open during the Faire. Driving Directions and Parking

Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee – and close to all major thoroughfares – MSOE is easily accessible when traveling from out of town.

From the North (via I-43)

Take I-43 south to downtown Milwaukee. Then take Highway 145 east/McKinley Avenue exit (exit # 73A). Turn left (east) on McKinley; proceed on McKinley for about six blocks to Broadway/the Kern Center.

From the North (via 41/45)

Take Highway 41 south to Milwaukee; then take I-94 east to downtown Milwaukee; then take I-43 north toward Green Bay (exit # 310B; then take Highway 145 east/McKinley Avenue exit (exit # 73A). Proceed on McKinley for about six blocks to Broadway/the Kern Center.

From the South

Take I-94 west/I-43 north to downtown Milwaukee. Continue north on I-43, then take Highway 145 east/McKinley Avenue exit (exit # 73A). Proceed on McKinley for about six blocks to Broadway/the Kern Center.

From the West

Take I-94 east to downtown Milwaukee; then take I-43 north toward Green Bay (exit # 310B); 794; then take Highway 145 east/McKinley Avenue exit (exit # 73A). Proceed on McKinley for about six blocks to Broadway/the Kern Center.

PARKING

In addition to street parking, there are multiple indoor and outdoor parking options available close to campus, including:

Amtrak & Badger Bus

Amtrak train goes directly to the Milwaukee Intermodal Station, providing easy transportation from Chicago, Glenview, IL, and Sturtevant, WI.

BadgerBus also travels to the Milwaukee Intermodal Station, providing easy transportation from Madison, La Crosse, Eau Claire, and Johnson Creek, as well as Rochester, MN and Bloomington, MN, and Minneapolis, MN.

The MSOE Campus is about a 20-minute walk.
