Red Cat Racer
Bay View High School's Red Cat Racer! Bay View High School students built this 1/2 scale Indy car from scratch - no plans, no details! This little beauty was built from raw materials and parts from Mini Coopers, VW Beetles, and Briggs and Stratton lawnmowers with three angle grinders, one welder, a horizontal band-saw, and lots of hopes and dreams.

We are the Red Cat Racers!!! We built our car with the use of very minimal tools. We used only 3 angle grinders, one welder, and a horizontal bandsaw, from this we were able to build a really cool race car that the students were able to race.
