Tamara Clammer

Tamara began leatherworking with her son when he was 9 years old. They taught themselves how to make bags, belts, and knife sheaths. Tamara originally intended to make shoes, but instead found herself mesmerized by wearable art masks. She's now the Doer: Maker Advocate at Brown Paper Tickets, Instructor at Pratt Fine Arts Center, and owner/artist of faceOdd Wearable Art Masks.

What inspired you to make this project?
My mission as a Doer at Brown Paper Tickets is to encourage creative reuse and lifelong learning through making. This project perfectly dovetails my day job mission (which is more like my life's mission), my own making, the things I've learned along the way, and my overflowing scrap bin.
