Toberman Garage
Jason Toberman
Jason grew up Wisconsin working on strawberry and Christmas tree farms. He received degrees in both Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from Valparaiso University in Northwest Indiana in 2016. Jason loves racing and he built his power racer with his family and is working on improving the design.
Mark Toberman
Mark is a master electrician who loves tinkering and building things out in his shed. Mark heavily contributed to the power racing go kart design and has taught his children useful maker skills in the process.
Mary Toberman
Mary Toberman keeps the rest of the pit crew in check (and makes sure they are safe and behave). Mary put together the seat for the go kart to make the rough ride a little more bearable.
Ellen Toberman
The youngest of the Toberman family, Ellen has made quite a name for herself. From playing piano, flute, swimming competivity, to go kart building. Ellen helped build several components of the car including the tire rims and mounts for electrical components. During races she manages the battery charging to make sure the team goes out with a full pack of energy!
John Toberman
John is a chemist and our explosive and demolition expert that keeps the car running in peak condition.
Jane Toberman
Jane has been one of the Toberman's pit crew members last year in 2016 and is currently pursuing a degree in nursing. So whether it be a broken car or broken human - Jane can fix it!
Carl Colvin
Carl was Jason's roommate in college and has been with him on all sorts of adventures - with Power Racing soon to be added to the list!

I have always been interested in electric vehicles and when I saw the power racing series website I felt inspired to participate
