Garage-Built Twin Engine R/C Tank

Engineering
Have a garage and some scrap steel laying around? Build a tank! This large scale 300 lbs twin 49cc gasoline engine radio-controlled tank has been built over the past few years with modest budget-friendly tools and some cheap off the shelf parts.

I've been fascinated by all things mechanical since I was a tiny human, from repairing my parents' lawnmower and "fixing" things that weren't broken to building machines with K'nex and Erector sets. Fast forward a couple of decades and now I'm a welder by trade and build some peculiar things in a garage with some modest shop tools and wisdom under my belt. I have a passion for historical machines and I particularly love steam engines, the poetry in motion is mesmerizing. Once this project is finished I have plans to design and build a steam powered bicycle so keep an eye out for that. Oh and I also love cats...obviously.

What inspired you to make this project?
I like to build things, so I combined my love for tanks, radio control and metal working to create this. Also after watching the show "Howe and Howe Tech" with their Ripsaw tank it did give me a bit of additional inspiration.
