The Milwaukee School of Engineering Space Raiders participate in NASA's LUNABOTICS competition. Every year, the team of students builds a robot equipped to mine materials on the moon.

What inspired you to make this project?
We were inspired to participate in NASA's LUNABOTICS competition because we are excited about NASA's Artemis program and the future of humans on the moon. We want to be part of that by prototyping designs that could one day be used on the Moon. We also believe the competition is a great way to give our student members hands-on engineering experience while they are still undergraduate students.
